Arina Info Tech Shuts Down for illegal VoIP operations

Arina InfoTech Limited, one of low level ISP of Bangladesh has been shutdown by BTRC due to it's illegal VoIP Operation. 

According to a press release, BTRC sealed the ISP's offices charging Arina with engaging in illegal call termination services and violating license conditions and directives. 

Arina InfoTech took Internet connectivity of 14Mbps from BTCL was mostly used to transfer illegal voice call traffic from around the globe. A probe body of BTRC, Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and other officials found the institute had been operating the outlawed VoIP service from its Gulshan office using most of its licensed 14 MBPS bandwidth.
